1. What times are wedding ceremonies held in the garden?
Morning weddings – 10.00am
Evening weddings – 5.30pm

2. What are the minimum and maximum number of guests the venue can accommodate?
Upstairs Venue – Min 150 and max 250 guests
Downstairs Venue – Min 50 and max 150 guests.

3. Do you hold office parties, birthday parties and corporate functions?
Luncheons from 12.00 – 4.00pm
Dinners from 6.30pm – 12.30

4. What times are morning and evening weddings held?
Mornings 9.30am – 12.30pm
Evenings 5.30pm – 12.00pm.

5. How far in advance can bookings be made?
Bookings can be made a year and half in advance.

6. Can we bring wine and champagne?
Yes, corkage @ R49.50 per bottle.

7. Can we get married in the garden?
Yes, the ceremony can take place in the garden. We supply chairs, umbrellas, carpet and arch at a charge.

8. How are meals for functions served?
We serve buffet style.

9. Can we bring our own florist, disco or band?
We recommend that you use our in-house team as they know the venue well, but you may use your own service provider.

10. Can we party after 01.00am?
Yes, but there is an additional charge per half hour after 12:30.

11. Can we bring snacks for pre-dinner drinks?
No, our chef can provide canapés or nibbles at an extra charge.

12. Do you host picnics on the lawns?
No, as weather in Cape Town is to unpredictable.

13. Do you charge a venue hire?
Yes.

Venue hire fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. Paid up-front to secure booking.

14. Do you have accommodation?
No, but we can recommend accommodation close by.

15. Do we have to use your catering?
Yes, we have qualified chefs.

16. When do final numbers of guests need to be confirmed.
Final numbers are confirmed one week before the function.

17. When must payment take place.
Full payment is required to be made into our bank account, by electronic transfer (EFT), or directly to us in cash, 48hrs before the function takes place.

18. Are we allowed to use sparklers in the restaurant?
No - there is a huge risk of burning table linen and causing a fire.

19. Are the drapes with the fairy lights included?
No, BEN from Drapes & Lighting is our service provider - 021 7905118/ 0824135180.

20. Is there enough parking for 300 guests?
Yes we do and we have security guards.

21. Do you have a generator?
Yes
